Perth, no its not Australian city we are talking about, it’s a beautiful town in northern Scotland surrounded by hills-Kinoull and craigie- on banks of river Tay. It has been one of important royal burghs of Scotland during 11-13th centuries. Though its very small compared to cities like Glasgow or Edinburgh but it proves “small is beautiful”. It has a pilot training center catering courses on Aeronautical engineering, I never knew this though its been nearly a year and half for me. Fortunately, one of my friends told me that there is some airshow scheduled in 1st week of June. I had never witnessed such an event in my life so agreed instantaneously.
We all arrived there well in time. There were air-crafts from different institutions including University of Edinburgh( Its one of the best universities in world having rare repute of association to icons notably James Watt, Alexander Graham Bell, Charles Darwin etc.). The major attraction of the event was “Red Arrows”, the programme was expected to start at 11:00 am but it was delayed by 30 minutes due to windy weather and typical Scottish rain.
We heard an announcement that the “Red Arrows” will be here in next 45 seconds. We turned our back and it was amazing view of fighte plane approaching towards us. Below attached is some of hillarious videos of the show. Its really amazing of its kind and please do see them if you get an opportunity it’s worth a million times. Following is a link to video from youtube( I have not shot it though )
